Inex is part of the S Group
Inex Partners Oy is the S Group’s sourcing and logistics company, a subsidiary of SOK. Inex purchases and distributes a large proportion of S Group stores’ grocery and consumer goods supplies. Inex Partners Oy’s turnover in 2008 was EUR 1,981.5 million. After the merger of Inex Partners Oy and Intrade Partners Oy, the number of employees in Inex is nearly 2,300. S Group in brief
The S Group is a national retail group in Finland. It is the market leader in the Finnish grocery market, with a over 42 per cent market share. In addition to Finland, the S Group has operations in the Baltic countries and the St. Petersburg area. In 2008 the S Group’s retail sales totalled EUR 11,821 million and it operated in more than 1,500 locations. Of these, more than 800 are Inex customers, namely grocery stores, consisting of neighbourhood stores, super- and hypermarkets, and service station stores. In addition to the grocery supplies trade, the S Group engages in service station store and fuel trade, department store and speciality store trade, hotel and restaurant business, automotive trade and accessories, and agricultural trade.
