Inex further reorganised its sourcing
As from 1 February 2008 Inex has centralised its sourcing operations. Aarre Lahti, director responsible for fresh products, has retired and director Hannu Pellinen has consequently been placed in charge of all sourcing operations. Sourcing is organised into three categories: Janne Lehtonen is division manager for fruit & vegetables and processed food products; Kim Strömsholm is division manager for beverages, tobacco, confectionery and daily non-food products; and director Kirsti Pasanen is division manager for private label products and product research.
Janne Lehtonen’s responsibilities cover the fruit & vegetable and the processed food products category ranges. Kim Strömsholm’s responsibilities in the new organisation cover the beverages, tobacco & confectionery and daily non-foods category ranges. Kirsti Pasanen is responsible for the product development & quality control team, and the design & communications team.
